Picky? Meh...

                                    When, Dishi?
                      What are you looking?
Don't you feel the need of someone?

Would i want to wake up to someone who smiles to have me by his side
Would i want someone to delegate my mundane tasks, so i could do whats priority to me?
Would i want someone to discuss my not so practical dreams?
                                                                                                                    Of course, Yes. Hell ya!

Now read again,  i emphasize the word "want" not "need" in above sentences.
I can easily meet and take care of my needs(gender equality morcha is too shallow, i m talking of individuality, so shh)

For needs are meant for living,
And
wants are meant for evolving.
I am already living,
I am looking for evolving!
Abb,  evolving mein time to lagta haina, dosto ;)

Toh you see,
when someone makes me feel,
He can take care of my wants,
that would be the time,
I would roar on the mountains,
"Now"!

Too demanding?
Go sue Pepsi and Pan Parag,
who taught the 90's kid in me
Yeh dil mange more and Ek se mera kya hoga.

Excerpt:
Mujhko kya pata khwaab kaise hote hain
Hum to aaj ko hi khwaab jaise jite hain
Aawara hawa hun main na hath aoongi
Jaoongi jahaan wahaan sabko jhukaoongi
Pagli pagli pagli pagli
Pagli main jhalli

Teri Lat Lag Gayii II

Ek chote se Daftaar ki Naukri hain

This morning a friend of mine called me.
Listening to my tone,
He asked:  Why are you not awake at this hour? Aren't you suppose to go to work?
My answer: No. I do not feel like working today.
Him: Sheepish smile.
My take on it: Life goes on.

I have strongly felt this and i have taken due liberty to choose when to go to work or not in recent year or two. Well, most of the days. Who does not love bread :)
The reason could be as silly as its too early to wake up today, its a busy day at work, its a lazy day at work , its raining, its snowing, its sunny, its windy, or my body is soar, etc...
That's a Risky and Crazy idea?
Sure, ya!
Do i advocate it to others ?
Well, Nope.  Walnuts are healthy they advise. Since, you got your walnut sized brain, use it to your advantage.

Being a part of health care unit, we are advised: If you are sick, stay home. Do not make others sick!
So, why not do so when you are mentally sick? Think of it, when you go unhappy to work, you spread that unhappy vibe around you to fellow colleagues in some way or other.  We all get sick of what we are doing after a time, no matter how much passionate you are doing what you do.
And of course its all about me!
So, i take pride to say i have saved the world by not making them sick :))

My reasoning is listen to your inner self sometimes, if your body is not ready, do not push it.
Ya, ya, i know, Will is difficult to exercise and you can push your body in either direction. But Why?
Its okay, to not work and sleep or gaze at sky. You would never know how a busy work day feels like not working if you never say no. A beautiful sunny day or rainy day would just be an expression unless you go and live it.  With our modern pace, we try to exert so much to an extent of keeping ourselves unhappy and others around us unhappy.  I have seen a lot of my friends working those extra hours for few perks at the cost of family time or a good night sleep.  I guess it works for them. I refuse to give in that rat race of making $$$.  Of course, i have the liberty to do so by god's grace and other times i turn off the logical switch of my walnut and choose to be ignorant :)

How often does world stop when you refuse to put that extra effort for that day?
Yes, it would be little stressful for people you work with to do your share, but hell ya! They will suck it up. Just as you do when they do not show up uncalled for.
And if you give me the shit that it would work against your accountability at work, then my friend, I am so sorry. Those people whom you work for or with, do not know your worth and hence, your time and energy are not worth for them. As simple as it is.

A Smile once a while goes a mile.
Toil always brings turmoil.
I often see the phrase coined "That's all it takes"
Nope, its much more than that!
Its a Burning Desire,
Unquestionable Faith,
and An Infectious Comfort,
to Be what It takes!

Teri Lat Lag Gayee!!!

O Dear,

As they say "A picture is worth thousand words"
I would attempt thousand clicks to capture Your shot,
But for a charming lady like You,
Neither a picture nor word would do justice.

You are a sheer delight to any beholder.
I am sure people have praised you earlier,
But, what is it about You, that i get allured each time?

Be it a dawn when you wake up smiling,
Be it a morning when you shine radiantly,
Be it a twilight when you blush involuntarily,
Be it a evening when you retire graciously,
Be it a night when sparkle delightfully.

What is it about You, that i get allured each time ?

Even on a dark cloudy day when you(sun) peek through playfully,
you seem flawless like a painting smeared with shades of gray and white.
Even on a stormy day when you(wind) sway the world around you,
you seem harmless like a intoxicated girl dancing in a night club.

What is it about You,
that i get allured each time?

Like a mother,
You burst into laughter(sunny) with me when happy,
You shed tears(showers) with me when gloomy.
 Each time,
You welcome me lovingly in your embrace,
And allure me to a sweet paradise.
No wonder, they call you -Mother Nature.

More

The more i dream, the more i need;
the more i try to get it, the more i fail;
the more i feel disheartened,  the more i want to hide;
the more i sleep, the more i dream.

You see "more"  never works in your favor.
Isn't it the same marketing idea behind Pepsi "yeh dil mange more" and Lays chips "No one can have just one" to loot our money and sell their product?

rain, rain, go away -seriously???

As I walk on the rippled filled payments
managing to stay dry
smelling the drenched leaves
It amuses me why romance is always related to rain??
Is it because they forced romance in 80's bollywood scenes when a girl dances in rain and guy adores her wet looks?
Is it because they showed couples under a umbrella in essel world ads?
Is it because the cool breeze is soothing as beloved's embrace?
Is it the smell of wetland that triggers the romantic hormones?
or
Is it because  mom's pakodas  are sizzling?

Don't tell me you dont find the idea of sharing the umbrella with him/her in rain. You pretty well know neither of you will stay dry but hey, its still romantic, isn't it?
Don't tell me that you don't have craving for pakodas in rain.
Don't tell me you never listened to romantic songs while it rained?
Don't tell me you never cursed a fellow car or bike driver for splashing the puddle over your dress while walking on side way.

Well, we all have different notions with rains.
I have a strong aversion to the writer of the famous nursery rhyme
"Rain, rain, go away, Come again another day;
Little Arthur wants to play."
Because,
  1.  It gave some lame people a reason to hate the natural blessing,
  2. Rhymes are like physchological virus they never get erased from your memory(we all know how we were forced to memorize those as kids and then narrate to every neighbor or family member),
  3. Rainy days can be the best time to be adventurous with your games

As a kid we had a family ritual to embrace the first rain of the season, no matter what.
With my grandpa singing a gujarati rhyme" Aav re varsad, ghebaryo varsad, uni uni rotli ne karela nu shak"[now that is one example i can say though romance and poems have rooted in western world, Indians have embraced it first ;) wanna debate, next time, Peace out]
Not that I liked getting drenched when i just accomplished to stay dry while coming back from school
Made me to think did i just tried hard to stay dry to get wet all over again??
But once, those tiny little droplets hits you,
all you want to do is fight back and say you can't hit me now
oh! how can i forget the puddle splashes and the paper boats.
I used to love rains for getting school days off and mumma's pakodas.
[now that is advantage of schooling in india as you have more than 3months holidays in entire school year]
Last year i was fortunate enough to enjoy the rains and revisit my childhood
But i was counter questioned are you still a kid?
How easily we tend to ignore such little things we once loved as we grow up.
Who said growing up is to give up the things you liked as a kid?
So, shrug that responsible shoulder once it begins to rain,
you dont need to get all drenched, eew i can imagine the plight of people mocking at your wet rear;
but you can pop your hand outside the car or peep out your face and feel the tiny droplets over you,
and if you are just adventurous like me, i would play Frisbee.
If you still not convinced with enjoying in rains, man! I seriously recommend you watching those 80's bollywood rain scenes.

80's bollywood movies reminds me of something else now, but, if i continue i might be showered with my advisor's rebukes, so let me resume again to my bone study.
